Founder and CEO of Design and Technology Institute, Constance Elizabeth Swaniker has indicated that the Ghanaian educational curriculum needs to be reviewed because it is more theoretical than practical.
Speaking to the media, she explained that young people are always crying that there are no jobs yet there are jobs.
However, “these jobs mostly require technical know-how which most young people are not efficient in”, Ms Swaniker added.
“Employers are not hiring and looking at your CVs, they’re looking at hiring attitude and skills,” she said.
Madam Swaniker explained that the industry demands are so rapid that there is a need for an agile curriculum to meet these demands.
