Ghana international Majeed Ashimeru has committed to Belgium giants Anderlecht after penning contract extension.
Ashimeru has extended his contract for two-years, keeping him at the summer of 2027.
Before penning a new deal, the Black Stars midfielder had a one-year contract existing contract at the Lotto Park.
A club statement reads, “Majeed Ashimeru has extended his contract with RSC Anderlecht until 2027. The Ghanaian midfielder has thus signed for two extra seasons.”
The former WAFA star joined Anderlecht in 2021 from Red Bull Salzburg and has since established himself as a key member of the team.
He is expected to play a huge role for Anderlecht in the upcoming campaign having a torrid season last term.
Last season, Ashimeru was limited to just 12 appearances due to persistent injuries.
