Ghana international Thomas Partey has been declared fit ahead of their game against Bournemouth in the English Premier League.
Partey missed the Black Stars double-header against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers due to medical concerns.
The former Atletico Madrid star was named in the 25-man squad for the two crucial games but withdrew as a precautionary measure.
In his absence, the four-time African champions played out a 0-0 draw against Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium, followed by a 2-0 defeat to Sudan at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Libya.
Ahead of Arsenals clash with Bournemouth on Saturday, manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed the Ghanaian international is now fit and ready to feature for the Gunners.
“Thomas Partey is fit and ready. For Gabriel Martinelli, same as Havertz; we will decide today”. He said.
His return comes a huge boost for the Premier League giants, who are poised to secure maximum points against Bournemouth as they challenge for the title this season.
