The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas Limited Company, Dr. Ben K.D. Asante has revealed that Since 2017, his outfit has saved the nation US$ 250 million.
This was through indigenizing operations at its Gas Processing Plant, creating 1000 jobs, and transferring critical skills to local engineers.
He added that with infrastructure like the Anokyi Mainline Compressor Station and the Karpowership Gas Pipeline, Ghana Gas Limited Company currently provides 20% of the nation’s total thermal capacity, ensuring reliable power for families and businesses across the country.
