Elder Dr. Gibson Annor Antwi of Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC – Koforidua) has said Ghana needs more Christians with integrity to enable the country to develop at a faster pace.
He believes, if 70% of the total Ghanaian Population-which is Christians uphold high-level integrity, the Country will be transformed.
He bemoaned the dearth of integrity in Ghana which he says is the cause of high level of immorality and corruption.
“Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles or simply put moral uprightness. It is generally a personal choice to hold oneself to consistent moral and ethical standard”
According to him “Integrity has become an essential commodity in the house of God in particular”, but added that, “Integrity is one of the key attributes that a Christian needs to display at all times, anytime, everywhere, asleep or awake” since it is fundamental litmus test of a true Christian.
He said this Sunday, February 16, 2020, when he delivered a sermon with the title “Living a Life of Integrity as a Christian”, a message he acknowledged was first propounded and expounded by the General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost Apostle Nana Yaw Kumi Larbi Jnr.
Elder Dr. Gibson Annor Antwi quoted Proverbs 10:9 demonstrate how God expects every Christian to have the integrity to be secured.
Elder Dr. Annor Antwi, who is a former Registrar of Pentecost University College(PUC), used images and videos of real-life situations in his slides to provide in-depth illustrations on “integrity”.
He admonished members of The Church of Pentecost to strive to preserve their integrity to reflect the 2020 theme of the Church “Building a Glorious Church to Possess the Nations”.
“When it comes to integrity, let us strive to preserve it and keep it intact. If there is any trump card you have, you must always strive to keep your integrity intact”.
