Communication Director of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Mr Paa Kow Ackon has said the NPP government should stop wasting GH₵440milion on the new voter’s register.
According to him, the NPP government should rather use this amount to establish companies to enable the jobless to get access to work in order to increase productivity in the country.
Speaking to Abena Pokua Ahwenee on Dadi FM’s “Efa wo ho” morning show, Mr Ackon averred that the compilation of the new voter’s register will not have any benefit to the country and it is waste of money.
“There is no need for new voter’s register because there are many contractors who have failed to perform their responsibility due to the government failure to grant them money,” said Mr Paa Ackon.
Mr Paa Ackon urges Nana Addo and the Electoral Commission (EC) to use this money for projects works in order to develop the country.
