The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has pitched Ghana as the premier destination for ethical and profitable mining investment in Africa.
Addressing the 23rd Africa Down Under Conference in Australia, the minister urged global mining investors to focus on Ghana due to the country’s track record and current status as Africa’s leading producer of gold.
In a stirring speech at Perth on Thursday, September 4, he highlighted Ghana’s credentials, gold productivity and prospects in bauxite and iron ore, lithium and base metals.
In concluding his presentation, the Minister extended a compelling invitation to the investment community, urging them to make Ghana a priority in their investment decisions.
