Ghana international Mohammed Kudus missed West Ham United’s Premier League match against Wolves due to an injury setback.
The former Ajax star was not included in the matchday squad on Tuesday due to an injury he is currently carrying.
It appears his absence affected the Hammers as they succumbed to a narrow defeat to Wolves at the Molineux Stadium.
Forward Jørgen Strand Larsen’s strike in the 21st-minute mark was enough to secure win for Wolves.
Graham Potter, the manager of West Ham United confirmed the Ghanaian international missed the clash due to an injury setback.
“It was difficult, we lost Mo [Kudus to injury] yesterday and [Jean-Clair] Todibo as well, so we had to readjust quickly. We felt that Luis could help us in terms of his pace if we won the ball back. We just didn’t manage to find him enough times” he said.
Kudus has struggled to replicate his impressive debut season form, scoring only three goals and providing two assists in 27 appearances. A 13-game goal drought and a five-game suspension have further hindered his progress.
The Ghana international will be hoping to bounce back in style as the season nears an end.
