A delegation from Chifeng Jilong, operators of Golden Star Wassa Mine, led by its Chairman, Mr. Jian Hua Wang, called on the minister for Lands and Natural Resources Samuel Abu Jinapor to discuss matters of mutual interest, particularly in relation to the expansion of the Wassa Mine and increasing gold output from the Mine.
And on Tuesday, Tuesday, 30th May, 2023, I hosted a team from David Salaman & Associes, a Swiss-based firm, on their proposed African Blue Carbon (ABC) Project.
Later in the Tuesday, the minister participated in a Webinar, organised by Picterra, a Swiss company that provides a cloud-native geospatial artificial intelligence platform, in partnership with Digital Earth Africa, on the theme “Unlocking the potential of geospatial data for mining operations.”
“The vision of President Akufo-Addo to make Ghana the mining hub of Africa requires that we leverage on artificial intelligence powered by geospatial data not only for mining, but across the entire value chain, and we will continue to work with stakeholders to deliver this” the minister stressed.
