The government would employ the services of twelve thousand and seventy-one (12,071) vaccinators in the administering of COVID-19 doses to the public.
According to President Akufo-Addo in his 24 updates to the nation on measures taken against the spread of the pandemic emphasized that thirty-seven thousand, four hundred and thirteen (37, 413) volunteers and two thousand and seventy-nine (2,079) supervisors are to be deployed to ensure successful vaccination.
He added that the exercise will be conducted in forty-three (43) districts, which are the epi-centers of the pandemic in the country.
The districts as announced by the President include; Greater Accra 25, Ashanti region 16, and 2 in the Central region respectively.
