Ghana Tourism Authority on Wednesday launched its 50th Anniversary celebrations, and presented the 2022 Tourism Report, which provides insights into the performance of Ghana’s tourism industry in the year under review.
Speaking at the launch, our CEO, Yofi Grant, lauded the efforts of GTA over the 50-year period, in positioning the country as a preferred tourism destination.
He also implored industry players to focus on Infrastructure development, Health/Safety, and Quality improvement, to cement Ghana’s position as the choice destination for tourists.
He assured that GIPC and GTA will continue to work collaboratively in branding the country internally and externally.
The event brought together high-level participants including; Minister of Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture, Hon. Ibrahim Awal, and his deputy Mark Okraku Mantey; CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority, Akwasi Agyeman; CEO of Ghana Tourism Development Company, Kwadwo Antwi; as well as key private sector players.
