President Akufo-Addo has firmly stated that with the help of the Almighty God Ghana will appear victorious in the fight against COVID-19.
According to him, the measures his government has put in place to curtail the spread of the virus has functioned effectively because the deaths rate in Ghana yet remains low as compared to other parts of the world.
Akufo-Addo during his 18th televised address to the nation stated that the rate of death 0.5 per cent remains very low only that thirteen more deaths have occurred bringing the total number of deaths tragically to 310 out of a total number of 510,074 tested.
“This combat shall pass, for the battle is still the Lord, soon Ghana will go back to its normalcy,” he said.
He then urged Ghanaians to continue to submit to the measures put in place to deal with the virus because that is the surest way the country can overcome the disease.
