Former Ghana international Dan Quaye claims the Black Stars will need a miracle to edge past sworn rivals Nigeria in the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-offs.
The Black Stars will take on the Super Eagles in a crucial World Cup final round qualifiers in march.
The winner of both legs will secure qualification to the World Cup slated for November and December this year.
Ghana endured a difficult 2021 Africa Cup of Nations campaign after exiting the tournament in group stage for the first time since 2006.
The four-time African champions will hope to make amends against Nigeria in the qualifiers.
But according to the former Hearts of Oak, he does not see Ghana qualifying as he believes Nigeria has got quality players than the Black Stars.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, he said, “Ghana will need a miracle to qualify ahead of Nigeria because we don’t have quality. Though Nigeria exited the tournament at round 16 but you could their players are determined to die for the nation unlike ours”
“This home and away clash will be difficult for Ghana to progress” he said.
