Ghana winger Samuel Owusu has donated items worth thousands of cedis to the Living Hope Orphanage in Elmina, Central Region ahead of Black Stars 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Sudan.
The items donated include rice, oil, biscuits, soap, face masks, veronica buckets, soft drinks and water.
The donation is part of the Owusu Project aimed at helping the needy and underprivileged in society.
The project Chief Executive Patrick Akoto made the donation on behalf of the Black Stars winger.
The player due to respect for Covid-19 protocols could not leave the Black Stars camp in Cape Coast for the donation.
The 24-year-old last month secured a lucrative move to Suadi top-flight side, Al-Ahli Jeddah and has been in great form.
He has scored a goal in two games.
