Ghana international Joseph Aidoo is set to depart club Celta Vigo in the ongoing January transfer window.
Aidoo has struggled to regain his form at the club after recovering for a long-term injury. The Black Stars defender was sidelined for 11-months after picking up a serious injury while on international duty with Ghana back in October 2023.
The former Genk marksman has made only three appearances for Celta Vigo coach Claudio Giraldez since his recovery.
Reports emanating from Spain suggests the Black Stars centre-back is no longer part of the manager’s plan. However, the club is considering terminating his deal early as they look to reshape their squad.
