Evangelist Sonnie Badu, has heaped praises on President John Mahama for his desire to make Ghana a great nation through his policies and promises he made Ghanaians before becoming president for the second time.
According to him, during President Mahama’s first term, he did a lot of good works but failed to advertise it properly which led to his defeat in the 2016 elections.
He made this assertion during an interview with a Kumasi based radio station.
“Before now, he did a lot but failed to advertise it properly. This time, with the help of social media, everyone is seeing his works, and we are beginning to appreciate him more,” he said.
Badu also declared his unwavering support for President John Dramani Mahama and stated that he would choose the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on any given day.
Adding that, his preference is influenced by his family’s longstanding support for the NDC. He described President Mahama as motivated to become one of Africa’s top presidents and commended his leadership.
He also stated that the President’s youthfulness, sense of humour, and capacity to stay current made him an excellent leader for the country.
However, the man of God expressed anxiety regarding succession, stating that President Mahama’s “shoes are big” and that any future leader will have to achieve even more to sustain his legacy.
