Deputy minister for Local Government, Decentralization & Rural Development and also the Member of Parliament for Offinso North Constituency in the Ashanti Region, has stated the theme for this year’s 65th Independence Day celebrations “Working Together, Bouncing Back Better” should be a clarion call on all Ghanaians to come together and work harder to recover the economy especially after the novel COVID-19 pandemic.
Addressing the 6th March Parade at Akumadan, he commended the traditional authority of the area and all stakeholders for supporting him and the DCE in unity which has made Offinso North one of the fastest growing districts in Ghana.
He is, therefore, urging Ghanaians to support President Akufo-Addo and the NPP to ensure the economy regain its feet from the effect of the COVID 19 pandemic.
David Kwasi Asare Boakye, award-winning DCE for Offinso North lauded President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo led NPP government for the extra ordinary vision for the country’s developmental agenda especially in area of education.
He assured Government continuous commitment to ensuring all sectors of the economy see major boost to benefit the ordinary citizen.
