Ghana`s COVID-19 Active cases have drastically dropped from over 5,000 at the beginning of March 2021 to 1,775 as of 28th March as the vaccination against the Pandemic continues in the Country.
Ghana Health Service Report indicates that a total of 546,333 vaccines have been administered as of 7:00pm on 30th March 2021.
The number of COVID-19 related deaths recorded for the past year stands at 743 as 12 patients are in critical and 29 in severe condition.
Since March 2020, Ghana has confirmed 90,583 COVID-19 cases but 88,065 persons have recovered and discharged.
The COVID-19 pandemic and the growing burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases worldwide have pushed governments and stakeholders to explore new ways of improving access to healthcare and creating more resilient health systems.
