Former Finance Minister, Seth Terkper believes John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) can drastically improve Ghana within four years if given another chance in the December 7 elections.
Terkper highlighted the NDC’s impressive record of national development, contending that their prior successes speak for itself.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, August 27, in Accra, Mr. Terkper claimed that John Dramani Mahama has the traits of a leader needed to turn Ghana’s fortunes around.
He went on to emphasize the NDC’s impeccable record, saying that anyone who takes the time to look at it can see it.
“NDC record in office was made clear. If there are any aspects you doubt, we can talk about it. From fiscal management you know where we ended the year with 6.1, forget about 9.3, 10.3. It was a lie and we challenged it.
“The IMF corrected it and we showed you the deficit the debt fiscal performance so I am saying the manifesto is based on performance.”
