Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Kosta Papic has expressed worry about the Black Stars B inability to qualify for the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) being held Cameroon.
Ghana, two-time finalists in the competition have failed to qualify on three consecutive occasions under former Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu.
However, according to the Serbian trainer, he is surprised Ghana did not book a place as he strongly believes the country has a lot of quality players.
“I’m very surprised Ghana did not qualify for the CHAN competition. For me, that is very strange. I believe Ghana has quality players to play in that competition” he told Pure FM.
Papic after taking over Accra Hearts of Oak on December 1, 2020, from Edward Nii Odoom has been impressive, guiding the club to 5th position with 15 points after 9 round of matches.
