Ghana international Inaki Williams scored for Athletic Bilbao to end his goal scoring drought on Tuesday.
Despite his goal, his outfit were unable to secure qualification to the finals of the Copa del Rey.
The Black Stars forward striker had not found the net in 23 games for both club and country before their game against Osasuna.
Williams last goal came in October 2022 when they played Villarreal in the Spanish top-flight.
However, the Ghanaian striker seized an opportunity and scored to give his side the lead in the first half.
The first leg had ended in a 1-0 defeat for Bilbao, making Williams’ goal all the more crucial.
Despite Williams’ efforts, Osasuna managed to score in extra-time, emerging victorious and securing their spot in this season’s Copa del Rey final.
