Ghanaian international Joseph Alfred Duncan was unable to help Fiorentina to scoop their first trophy of the 2022/23 season after losing to Inter Milan in Coppa Italia final.
Duncan watched from the bench when his side suffered a 2-1 defeat to giants Inter Milan on Wednesday night.
Fiorentina took the lead through Nicolas Gonzalez before Lautaro Martinez equalized for Inter in the 29th minute.
The Argentine striker completed his double after founding the back of the net in the 37th minute to make it 2-1 for Inter.
With no additional goals in the match, Inter cruised to victory to win the Coppa Italia title.
Duncan and his Fiorentina outfit will now shift their attention to the UEFA Europa Conference League final.
Fiorentina will face English outfit West Ham United on June 7.
