The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Osafohene Dr. Afua Asabea Asare I has highlighted some initiatives her outfit has rolled out to support Ghana’s economic transformation.
Key amongst them are the Youth in Export programme and the SheTrades Ghana Hub, which empower young entrepreneurs and women-led businesses.
She noted that Ghana’s Non-Traditional Exports (NTEs) generated 3.944 billion in 2023, reflecting a rise from $3.531 billion in 2022.
Osafohene Asare made the remarks at the Minister’s Press Briefing in Accra.
The briefing was moderated by the Deputy Minister for Information, Hon. Sylvester Tetteh.
