The Ghana Library Authority has received over fifteen thousand (15,000) books for Ghanaian public library users from the Yaa Asantewa Library Project.
The Yaa Asantewa Library Project (YALP) is a citizen initiative Juliet Yaa Asantewa Asante started in 2017 to help Ghanaians develop a love for reading.
The GhLA has declared the Year 2022 as the “Year of Books” and as part of YALP’s mission to help develop and improve reading, habits have donated books to GhLA.
The GhLA has for some time now instituted a lot of policies to ensure Ghanaians have the passion for accessing their centres to upgrade their knowledge and also have their research done.
