The Minister for Health, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, has presented 38 Toyota Hilux 4×4 vehicles on behalf of the government to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
This generous donation aims to augment their fleet and enhance health service delivery across the country.
Receiving the vehicles on behalf of GHS, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye expressed gratitude to the government and the Ministry of Health for the significant support.
He emphasized the crucial role these vehicles will play in improving health services and pledged to ensure they are put to optimum use with a strict maintenance regime.
The vehicles are expected to bolster efforts towards achieving excellent health outcomes as Ghana strives to attain Universal Health Coverage by 2030.
They will be distributed across the 16 regions of the country, with a particular focus on supporting health services in deprived areas.
