As security in the sub-region gets attention, the School of Technology is hosting a Guest Lecture on Friday at the GB Auditorium to educate on how to tighten deal with the issue.
The Lecture will have the Head of Information Security at Stanbic Bank, Mr Albert Yirenchi-Danquah speak to Students, Faculty, and the Public on security matters.
The theme for the Lecture is “Securing Critical Infrastructure Systems: Challenges and Key Considerations for the National Digitization Agenda”.
It is expected to help the students of the School of Technology appreciate the usefulness of the courses they are studying and be abreast with the current state of Information Security from the practitioner’s perspective.
Ghana as well as many other West African countries are currently beefing up security due to insurgence in Mali and other neighbouring countries.
