A team from Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has participated in a study tour to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The tour, supported by AESA’s EU-funded Investment Promotion, Business Linkages & Export Development Project, provided deeper insights into some facets of investment promotion practice and how they can be practically applied in Ghana.
The delegation, consisting of Kwame Kesse-Agyepong (Deputy Director, Investor Services Division), Emmanuel Asamoah-Okyere (Senior Investment Promotion Officer, MIS), Edmund Onyame (Senior Investment Promotion Officer, Research Division), and Vivian Ampadu (Senior Investment Promotion Officer, Aftercare Division), was accompanied by Sean M. Duggan, an Investment Promotion Expert on the Project.
During the tour, the delegation discussed investment promotion issues and best practices with representatives from Invest In Sharjah, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dubai FDI, and the DMCC – Dubai Multi Commodities Centre.
