Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) Maritime and Coast Guard Unit receives delegation on familiarization and needs assessment visit to the GIS Operations Department.
The delegation met with some members of the Operations and Command Posts Department.
They are to carry out a needs assessment of the unit to aid with the effective patrols on Ghana’s water bodies to fight against human trafficking, smuggling and stowaways.
The Delegation lauded GIS for the swift establishment of the Maritime and Coast Guard unit.
