A Breast Cancer Sensitisation seminar an initiative of the GIS Clinic has been held at the National Headquarters of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) as immigration officers joined the world celebrate Breast Cancer awareness Month.
Selected Health Professionals of the GIS Clinic shared some health insights about the disease.
The Vice President of the Immigration Ladies Association (IMILAC) DCOI Prudence Sosu joined the seminar which was immediately followed by breast screening for officers for the month of October.
She assured the public of the GIS commitment to promoting of quality health care for both officers and others.
The month of October has been dedicated to the awareness creation of breast cancer and its related effects.
