The German government through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, today, donated a total of 370 laptops to the Ministry of Communications Digitalisation (MoCD) to support the Girls in ICT Programme.
The Deputy Minister, Ms. Ama Pomaa-Boateng (MP) , who received the donation on behalf of the Sector Minister, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful (MP) commended GIZ Ghana for their continuous support to the ministry’s commitment to bridging the digital divide through the Girls in ICT initiative which is currently ongoing in the Savannah Region
The Deputy was joined by the Chief Director, Mr Alexander Yaw Arphul , The Chief Executive Officer of GIFEC, Mr. Price Sefah, Director PPME, Mr. Emmanuel Ofori, and other officials of the ministry and GIZ
