A high-level delegation of business leaders from Pakistan, led by the Vice Consul to Ghana, Omar Shahid Butt, paid a courtesy call on the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI).
It was to discuss ways of strengthening economic ties between Ghana and Pakistan.
The Chief Executive of the GNCCI, Mr. Mark Badu-Aboagye, during discussions, urged the group to explore the vast investment opportunities available in Ghana, particularly in sectors such as services, manufacturing, agriculture, and tourism among others.
In response, the Vice Consul expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and emphasised the importance of Ghana as a gateway to trade and bilateral relations in Africa.
The 2nd Vice President of the GNCCI, Mr. Stephane Miezan also highlighted Ghana’s potential as a foreign direct investment destination and call to attention key areas that the two countries could explore to increase trade and investment.
