The Head Environmental Unit of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation, Mr. Yaw Acheampong has said that the leadership of the Foundation will continue to ensure that, the government vision of sharing developmental projects out of the oil production fund equally to all communities in the country is fulfilled.
He said these will ensure that every community has received its share from oil production funds in the country.
Mr. Yaw Acheampong was speaking to traditional authorities and people of Drobonso in the Sekyere Afram plains district during the sod-cutting ceremony for the Construction of 6-unit classrooms block, 3 classrooms block and nine 9 boreholes for Drobonso and Anyinofi funded by GNPC Foundation.
He added the Foundation over the years has engaged lots of projects across the country to augment the government’s efforts and therefore pledged to do more in the coming years.
The District Chief Executive, Joseph Owusu Odenkyem on his part, gave the details about the project and said the government will continue to partner with GNPC to ensure there are more developmental projects in the country to make living conditions of citizens much better.
The Chief of Drobonso, Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubin Siaw II, however, expressed gratitude to the government and authorities of GNPC for the projects.
He asked for continued blessings upon the Akufo-Addo led government for the commitment towards developmental projects in the district and the country at large.
