Gold Stars highly rated striker Maxwell Boakye has confirmed Hearts of Oak interest ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
The former striker of the rainbow boys has been outstanding for his side in the 2019/2020 Ghana Division One League.
He has ranked up 10 goals in 13 matches for the Bibiani based club.
Following his scintillating performance this season, report went rife that several premier league clubs are yearning for his signature.
In an interview with Koforidua based Bryt FM, Boakye confirmed Hearts of Oak interest together with other three clubs.
“Yes its true, four clubs have contacted me. Legon Cities, Karela United, Dreams FC and Olympics are chasing me”
“Hearts of Oak have also called me. I spoke with their coach Edward Odoom three days ago and he made it known that he wants me at the club”
“He told me to forget the past and join them because it is a new Hearts of Oak but I told him to wait” he told Bryt FM.
