22 persons (4 women, 1child, 17 men) confirmed dead in a gory accident between Kintampo and Babatokuma.
21 died at the spot and the other 1 in a critical condition at the hospital.
The Yendi-Kumasi bound bus, AS 4635-22, with 52 passengers onboard, crashed by side with a trailer truck GW 1127 P, carrying tiles.
Even though it is unclear what really happened, An eyewitness allegies the truck driver tried to swerve a stationary truck and through the process the bus swayed to the other lane which resulted in a cohesion the bus.
The dead are now deposited at the Kintampo Government Hospital morgue whilst the surviving victims are receiving treatment at the Kintampo Hospital.
