Vice President Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia on Saturday joined Chiefs and citizens of Bono, Bono East and Ahafo in Sunyani, for the Annual Convention of the Council of Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Associations of Continental North America (COBAANA).
The 2023 COBAANA Convention was aimed at raising funds to support the establishment of a dialysis centre in the area, which is the latest developmental initiative of the Association, established by indigens of Bono and Ahafo in North America 20 years ago.
Government welcomes the contributions of progressive groups such as COBAANA, whose initiatives complement government’s efforts at developing our country.
