Security consultant and analyst Richard Kumadoe has expressed worry on government silence on issues related to guns smuggling and other related serious offences.
Reacting to the arrest of guns and ammunitions at the Tema Habour on 4th October, 2024, the security expert complained that government has failed to give update the matter ever since it occurred, creating room for speculations.
He made a reference to some people in the USA who have been arrested for attempting to ship guns to Ghana but wonders how government has failed to update Ghanaians as expected.
According to Mr. Kumadoe stressed such actions by the government is a sign of bad governance procedure in terms of safeguarding the country’s peace.
He was of the view that providing Ghanaians with the necessary updates so as to strengthen public confidence in the governance system
