The Minister for Health Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has presented to the Parliament of the government initiative done so far for the Health Fraternity
He said over 700 medical Doctors have been deployed to assist health facility across the country.
“It is the government plans not to exempt any districts facility without a Doctor” he noted.
He added that over 500 nurses allowances has been paid within a year. He stressed that over the years the country has 10 regions , now it’s 16 regions and the other six regions has no regional hospital.
He revealed that government has order to start regional hospital for 3 regional capital namely Savannah, Oti and Western North region.
He also assured that abandoned hospitals left in the previous administration will be completed by this government.
