Energy Minister John Abdulai Jinapor was honoured to be the Guest Speaker at the Future of Energy Conference (FEC) 2025 organised by the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP) and its partners.
FEC is an annual platform to drive stakeholder collaboration towards an inclusive and sustainable energy future for Africa. FEC 2025 examined Africa’s financing needs and strategic pathways for achieving a just energy transition.
The minister reiterated the point that to transform Africa, we need sincere collaboration between governments, the private sector, and development institutions.
“Governments in Africa must provide clear policy direction, regulatory stability and predictability and the private sector must bring innovation, efficiency, and investment. Our multilateral partners must help de-risk projects and expand concessional and blended finance mechanisms” the minister.
Mr. Jinapor challenged all; that is, governments, businesses, investors, and civil society to collaborate, to innovate, act decisively to ensure that the future of energy is the future we all deserve.
