President Nana Addo-Akufo Dankwa has revealed that the government is determined to ensure the safety of students and teachers who have returned to school following the reopening of educational facilities across the country.
To him, the government will do all it can to protect students in the country.
President Akufo-Addo affirmed that the coronavirus pandemic must not lead to distraction in the country’s education system.
During a conference at the University of Ghana, President Akufo-Addo assured that the government will ensure that the schools remain safe.
“Government has so far shown preparedness in protecting all students,’’ said President Akufo-Addo.
He added that after the ten months break, all students in the country’s educational structure are back in schools.
