The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has rebuked the government for deteriorating to safeguard Ghanaians about the third wave of COVID-19 virus, the Delta Variant.
Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo added that it is unforgivable and unacceptable those sixteen (16) months after lockdown, the government has still not been able to purchase its vaccine for Ghanaians to be vaccinated.
He categorically stated that the entire government machinery has failed to protect the ordinary Ghanaian.
In an interview with an Accra-based radio station, Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo pointed out the government’s inability to efficiently get vaccines to save Ghanaians and curb the spread of the virus.
Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo advised Ghanaians to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols.
