Mr. Kwasi Amoako Atta, the Minister for Roads and Highways, has reiterated the government’s resolve to improve upon the road network in the country to accelerate national development.
Member of Parliament of the Atiwa West constituency in the Eastern Region and Minister of Road and Highway, Mr. Amoako Atto has assured that the NPP government will construct a higher standard of roads to serve its purpose in the country.
According to him, roads are constructs with public resources and he will make sure that it is carefully used.
This came to light when the lawmaker visited some on-going projects including the link road from the Ghana Institute of journalism and Parliament House in Accra.
Mr. Amoako Atta said the government working assiduously to change the phase of the road sector to enhance economic activities.
He added that his government is going to ensure constructors to construct high-quality roads as part of the government declaration of 2020 as the year of roads.
