On Monday , October 21, 2024, the GEA | Mastercard Foundation BizBox Project officially begins the distribution of start-up kits to graduate beneficiaries of the Asuogyaman District who have completed vocational and technical training in areas such as hairdressing, dressmaking, welding, baking, and agriculture under the Apprenticeship to Entrepreneurship (A2E) and Agriculture & Agribusiness to Entrepreneurial (AA2E) components of the Youth Skills Development Pillar.
These initiatives demonstrate the government’s commitment to unlocking the potential of Ghana’s youth, women, and vulnerable populations, equipping them with the skills and resources necessary to thrive in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The event drew a distinguished attendance, including Hon. Mavis Opokua Akonnor, District Chief Executive of Asuogyaman District Assembly, Hon. Pius Enam Haszide, NPP’s parliamentary candidate for Asuogyaman constituency, as well as party executives, traditional leaders (Nananom), influential stakeholders, and members of the local community.
