Ghana Tennis Federation(GTF) has announced the appointment of Henry Kwaku Nyantey Larbi, Board Member of GTF and Wheelchair Tennis Coordinator as a member of International Tennis Federation (ITF) Wheelchair Tennis Committee.
GTF President Isaac Aboagye Duah, earlier this year, submitted two nominees for consideration as members of Gender and Ethics Committee and Wheelchair Tennis Committee of the ITF.
ITF, after its elaborate process has appointed our Board Member and Wheelchair Tennis Coordinator Henry Kwaku Nyantey Larbi unto the ITF Wheelchair Tennis Committee.
Again, Henry Larbi and James Kenani, president of Kenya Tennis Association are the only Africans on this International committee”
Henry Larbi hails from Koforidua in Eastern Region of Ghana.
Ghana Tennis Federation President Isaac Aboagye Duah and Board Members have extended congratulations to Henry Larbi, for this significant milestone of Ghana Tennis and specifically Ghana Wheelchair Tennis.
These achievements are evident of the strides that have been nurtured and sustained in the past five (5) years of which GTF has strengthen its relationship with ITF, CAT, the Grand Slam federations and they other top ranked Federations of Europe and the Americas.
