The Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has sponsored the installation of streetlights in Abromase, one of the prominent communities within the Kulaw enclave of her constituency.
The initiative, according to the MP, forms part of her broader commitment to enhancing security, safety, and quality of life for residents across the constituency. She emphasized that adequate street lighting not only deters criminal activity but also facilitates safe movement and economic activities during the night.
Supervising the installation exercise was the Director of Special Projects, Mr. Mustapha Nafiu, who ensured that the work was carried out efficiently and to standard. He assured residents that the MP remains dedicated to expanding the project to other communities within the Kulaw area and beyond in the coming weeks.
Also present during the installation was the Kulaw Ward Coordinator, Mr. Issahaku Nurudeen, who monitored the progress of the work.
He expressed profound gratitude to the MP for her swift response to the community’s long-standing request for improved street lighting. Mr. Nurudeen noted that the intervention would go a long way to enhance security and foster social and economic activities at night.
