Haruna Iddrisu, Minister of Education, and Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Technology, are in stable condition after a traffic collision on the Bolgatanga-Tumu route in the early hours of Thursday, February 12.
The incident happened when the ministers and their convoys were traveling to the Upper West Region to attend Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
Officials have confirmed that everyone is safe and that all convoy members are receiving medical attention.
The public, medical professionals, and emergency responders were commended by the Office of the Education Minister for their prompt support and help. We’ll provide more updates as needed.
