Ghana coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor has eulogized Ajax star Mohammed Kudus after impressing for the Black Stars despite defeat to Morocco.
The Atlas Lions on Tuesday night inflicted a 1-0 defeat on the Black Stars at the FAR Sportive Stadium courtesy of Jawad El-Yamiq’s strike in the 68th minute.
Speaking after the game, Akonnor heaped praise on Mohammed Kudus describing him as a fantastic player who can produce magic at every given time.
“He is a good player, fantastic. He can produce magic at every given time”
“Our Captain (Andre Ayew) and his brother (Jordan Ayew) we played with some team spirit and understanding and that is what excites me”
“I am very happy about the way we played; of course I am not happy that we lost so we need to look forward to how to improve in that area and that is my thinking now,” he said.
Ghana will host Ivory Coast on Saturday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in another friendly.
