Accra Hearts of Oak coach, Edward Nii Odoom has vehemently stated that his outfit will win the forthcoming Ghana Premier League title that has eluded the club for some time now.
The Phobians have not won the Ghanaian topflight title since the 2008/09 season and according to the trainer, his side will be crown champions for the 2020/2021 season.
Speaking to GTV, he said, “Hearts of Oak fans did very well for us in the season which was truncated. They followed us to every match so we want the same thing this season”
“So far as we have started, this year will be a very good year for us. If I look at my boys, they are very determined.
“Since we started at the beach and gym work, their attitude is very perfect. Hearts of Oak will win the 2020/20 Ghana Premier League. We are going to break the jinx that has eluded us for the past ten years.”
The Ghana Premier League is set to return in November 13.
He has therefore called on the fans to rally behind the team in the bid break the ten-year trophy drought.
