Former Ghana youth star Ali Jara is defiant about Hearts of Oak title chances in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The reigning Ghana Premier League champions are without a win after two matches into the season.
The Phobians were held by Legon Cities and West African Football Academy and will next host Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Despite the club’s difficult start to the season, the 1991 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner believes the rainbow boys can pick up and defend the title at the end of the season.
In an interview with Koforidua based Aben FM, the former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper said, “I’m expecting a very difficult season but I believe Hearts of Oak can defend the title considering the quality of players at their folds” he said.
Hearts of Oak have two points after two matches into the season.
