Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Ali Jara is optimistic that the Phobians can make the money zone of the CAF Confederations.
The Phobians dropped to the Confederations Cup after defeating Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League final playoffs.
The Ghana Premier League champions suffered a 6-1 defeat away and were subsequently booted out of the competition with a 6-2 aggregate.
They will take on Algerian side JS Souara at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 28 before the return fixture in Algeria on December 5, 2021.
In an interview with Koforidua based Aben FM, the former Ghana youth star expressed his former employers can make the money zone in the Confederations Cup.
“Hearts of Oak went to Morocco and we all saw what happened, I think the team has learnt from their mistakes so we hope and pray they deliver in the Confederations Cup, they’ve done it before and am confident they will progress to the money zone,” he said.
