Managing Director of Hearts of Oak, Delali Anku-Adiamah has jumped to the defense of Kelvin Osei Asibey despite costing their defeat against Asante Kotoko.
The Phobians suffered narrow defeat to the Porcupine Warriors in matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Striker Albert Amoah capitalized on Asibey’s blunder to slot home the match-winner in stoppage time for Kotoko.
After the game, Delali Anku-Adiamah refused to blame Asibey for the defeat as he highlights his exploits in the crucial game.
“You can’t just look at the mistake. It came way up the field before it got to the defense. Let look at the whole situation what happened from the middle to the back. Kelvin was one of the best players if not man of the match. Some of the tackles and the clearance he did was amazing” he said.
Hearts of Oak are currently 7th on the Ghana Premier League table with 19 points.
